Today, we went back to practice as normal. Practice started with a warm-up jog at 6:05pm. Most of the team was out and on time, except for Scott's group from Cumbre, which was okay because Scott is injured and needed to focus on teaching his group teh basics rather than conditioning them for play. They ended doing their warm-up jog a little later.
After stretching and warm-ups, the team did the same drill on monday, the go-to break-the-mark drill. After that, conditioning commenced with four sets of Raph's "work-rest-play." The main drill today was a round robin game of "light touch." This game involved two teams of five playing against each other in a 20x20 yard square. The goal of the game is to complete 10 passes in a row under a stall count of 3. The game promotes quick handling and dumping of the disc in a high stall count situation.
Scrimmage started around 7:45pm with an emphasis on Horizontal stack. Unfortunately, it looks like there is still a lot of work to be done on this stack.
Highlights:
Bob 'Hucking Hero' Chan goes deep.... twice!
Me blocking the disc with my face. Yea, now it looks like I got a botox injection in my lip.
