CSULB Hat Tourney - Party at the Pyramid (Informal)

This was not really related to UCI in anyway. Just for fun so I'll blog it anyway.

The hat tourney was composed of mostly UCI and CSULB people. There were a few guys from other place like SDSU, but not that many. A couple familiar OCUltimate players were there too like Zach, Steve Boikess, and Lev.

UCI Men - Allen, Scott, Box, Sam, Danny, Chrispy, Steve
UCI Women - Iris, Jenn, Jess, Meghan, Vonni

Once all of the paperwork was done, all the woment went off to do their own thing at a women's clinic. Meanwhile, the men made four teams of savage 7's. The free t-shirt given out was a colored shirt that matched the team you were on.

1st - Lime Green - Allen, Scott, Zach
2nd - Red - Box, Steve
3rd - Dark Green - Sam, Danny, Steve Boikess
4th - Pink - Chrispy, Lev

Co-ed

I don't know the scores, ask the people for them. Furthermore, I just realized that you cannot determine an actual place for the 2nd and 3rd place rankings, since two of the teams do not get to play each other. However, this is how the trophies were given out so I'll leave it at that.

Prizes were handed out too. Iris got an award for something... women's most spirited or something. Danny took a trophy home... Scott took three shirts home... and most everyone, other than me got a UPA $15 gift certificate...

Fun tournament ended with a dinner at Pippens and then the UCI Men's volleyball team beating out Pepperdine in 4 sets.
