Practice was surprisingly intense after a three day tournament like Vegas. There are a lot of sore muscles and chronic injuries coming about. As a result, only 13 people were out. The scrimmages were 6-on-6 and then 5-on-5.
Drills:
Breakmark diamond drill
Ho-stack middle two drill - focus was on timing the cut in and the cut out. 2nd objective was to concentrate on clearing out
3 phase - upline, in-cut, deep-cut - self explanatory and can be seen in the video. First time around people would cut up line for a dump. Next, people would cut out and then in. Finally, straight up deep cut was made.
Scrimmage:
Dark - Allen, Box, Peter, Yangbin, Maggs, D-Rock, Eric Baumer (then Jamison)
Light - Me, Khosh, Miller, Thunder, Stig, Phil
Sideline - Jerry, Sam, Sherlock, Roeder
I show that dark had more because the latter half dropped quickly. D-rock got hurt with an ankle problem.
Roeder got a kick out of filming with his monopod. The foortage is pretty crappy, but hey, I'll put it up anyway. Th most useful part is the drill and the throws. You can see who can throw and who cannot.

Hopefully, our team will be able to heal up and be ready to go for this next weekend in UCSD's President's Day tournament.
